The bartenders of Solaris: We tell you their top secrets ;)

We interview Diego (bar manager) from Royal Solaris and GRCaribe, with over 25 years of experience has won several cocktail competitions on a regional level. Diego has shared with us some secrets that nowadays have helped him and his guys (as he calls them) to level up, be motivated and achieve excellence:
Main goal: To understand and satisfy our guests, getting to know what they like in the matter of taste, color and texture of their drinks, To provide drinks that makes them enjoy the night and have a good time with their family, friends or couple.
The 3 principles of cocktails:
Be clean & hygienic: healthy guests = happy guests!
The service has to be the TOP "Treat others the way you want to be treated".
Budget management
This year we celebrated the 2nd edition of this festival, where we provided food & beverages, the cocktail staff created over 17 different drinks inspired on the ancestral Mexico and they used ingredients such as cactus syrup, cacao, spicy peppers and maguey worm salt but overall they used our emblematic drinks tequila and mezcal.
Our General Manager recognized them for their hard work and success obtained during the festival, Solaris is very proud to have such a creative and dedicated team who are capable to create this beautiful and tasty drinks..

CLERICOT:
2 cups. of red or white wine
1.5 cups. sparkling water
1 spoon of sugar
1 cup of lemon juice
1 apple (sliced in cubes)
2 strawberries (sliced in cubes)
Grapes sliced in half (to taste)
Vodka (optional)
Expert tip: Add some passion fruit to give it a sweet and sour twist.
With this cocktail we assure you will be the best host ever!
